Saturday 6th June 2009 – Book Launch and Signing
Between 11am and 1pm we are very lucky to be joined by the very talented Rachel Bright who will be reading from her brand new children’s book “What does Daddy Do?”. For those of you not yet familiar with Rachel she is a Bristol based writer/illustrator whose magical and humorous poems and illustrations we stock in store. “What does Daddy do?” Rachel’s first book is being launched just in time for Father’s Day and features her best-selling illustrative character – Daisy. Rachel will be available after the reading to personally sign copies of the book purchased on the day – making a unique and unusual Father’s Day gift. The reading will start at 11am with book-signings following directly afterwards, supervised little-people welcome.

Saturday 20th June 2009 – Clearance Sale
Believe it or not we are already busy planning Christmas ‘09 and to help us get our stock room in order prior to the deluge of new stock we will be holding a one off clearance sale between 10 and 3pm on Saturday 20th June. Please try and make it along, I can guarantee some not-to-be-missed bargains!
